Obtain the vpt.hpi file that will allow for uploading the Plugin. Click the link below:

The web browser should automatically download the vpt.hpi file.

NOTE: this file needs to be on the same host machine that your Jenkins instance is running on. Remember the location as that will be useful later.

Navigate to the intended Jenkins instance and login as an administrator.

You will be greeted by the Dashboard. From there navigate to Manage Jenkins in the side bar then click Manage Plugins from the System Configuration menu options.

Once at the Plugin Manager page select the Advanced tab.

Notice the Upload Plugin section of the page. Click Choose File and select the vpt.hpi file downloaded in the previous section.

Once selected, the vpt.hpi file and the name is shown as the chosen file. Proceed to click Upload.

Jenkins displays the plugin as installing and should result in success.

NOTE: The Jenkins instance will need to be restarted following a successful install of vpt.hpi plugin.
